The Authorities of the Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA have donated a set of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) gadgets to the Area ‘P’ Command Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force.
The gadgets include HP computer systems, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units, an HP printer, a high-capacity Sharp photocopier machine, and a generating set to support uninterrupted operations at the command headquarters.
The initiative, according to a statement by Amuwa Mayowa, spokesman to the LCDA Chairman, Hon. Lukmon Agbaje, forms part of the Chairman’s continuous efforts to support law enforcement agencies in their responsibility to safeguard lives and property within Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA.
“By providing modern technological tools, the administration aims to enhance the operational efficiency of the police and strengthen their capacity to combat crime and maintain law and order.”
Speaking during the presentation at the command headquarters on behalf of the Chairman, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Babatunde Ajose, emphasized Hon. Agbaje’s dedication to promoting digital policing and strengthening collaboration with security agencies.
He noted that the Chairman remains committed to supporting the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies in fulfilling their mandate of protecting the community and ensuring a safer environment for residents.
The Area Commander, Fadeyi Olusegun, expressed appreciation to the Chairman for the thoughtful gesture.
He said that the donated equipment would significantly enhance and improve the command’s administrative capacity.
Olusegun assured residents of the command’s continued dedication to protecting lives and property while strengthening security efforts across the area.
