– Says security of lives and property top priority of his administration
The Chairman of Ayobo Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Hon. Agbaje Lukmon has said that the security of lives and property remains a top priority of his administration.
He said this when the newly posted Divisional Police Officer of Ayobo Police Station, Superintendent of Police, Ajeigbe Yemisi, on Thursday, paid him a courtesy visit at the council secretariat.
The familiarization visit, according to a statement by the spokesman to the chairman, Amuwa Mayowa, was aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the leadership of the LCDA, particularly in the area of community safety and security.
The council chairman encouraged SP Ajeigbe to sustain and further strengthen the existing cordial relationship between the police and the community, expressing confidence in her ability to excel in her new role.
Hon. Agbaje also commended the outgoing DPO, CSP Wilson Alaba, for his dedication and contributions to maintaining peace and order in Ayobo-Ipaja, and wished him a fulfilling retirement.
He assured the new DPO of his administration’s full support and cooperation in promoting peace, security, and effective community policing across the areas.
SP Ajeigbe expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded her and reaffirmed her commitment to working closely with the LCDA, community leaders, and residents to address security concerns and ensure a safer environment for all.
