The All Progressives Congress, APC, has screened and cleared Jelili Sulaimon to contest the forth coming primary in the party.
Sulaimon is the incumbent chairman of Alimosho Local government and he is contesting to return for another term in office.
The exercise is part of activities lined up by the Lagos Chapter of the APC towards the 2021 local government election in the State.
The council Chairman, who arrived venue of the screening promptly, was accompanied by other local government Chairmen in the state.
He was later ushered in to the screening chamber where he was cleared to contest the at the primary.
Speaking to supporters at the venue, Sulaimon urged his supporters to remain calm and be focused as there is no division within the party in Alimosho.
He also urged party loyalists to work hard in the forth coming election for the purpose of advancing developmental projects in the council area.
You would recalled that Sulaimon had, last week, obtained nomination form to contest.
