An educational Non-governmental Organization, Academic Excellence Initiative, AEI, has donated Mathematics and English past questions as well as branded exercise books to two schools as part of activities to mark this year’s World Teachers’ Day held on October 5.

The benefiting schools were Muhibah Memorial School, Egbeda and Bachel Model College, Ayobo.

Presenting the educational materials on behalf of the Project Officer, Alimosho Unit, Mr Abdullah Sulaimon, said the organization had been making the book donations to both public and private schools in the past seven years.

This gesture, he said, is one of the ways by which AEI gives back to the society.

Mr Sulaimon said the past questions would help prepare the students psychologically and also enhance their time management skills.

“It helps students to mark out their weak areas. It also helps them to understand the exam questions style. And when they use the past questions, it boosts their chances of coming out in flying colours and project the image of their schools,” he added.

The Principal of Bachel Model College, Bello N.A, commended the initiative and expressed appreciation on behalf of students and management of the school.

At Muhibah school, Mr Yusuf Ayodele, who received the AEI team, described the donation as “a wonderful and highly commendable gesture.”

The two schools were each given 30 mathematics and 30 English past questions, in addition to 80 AEI branded exercise books.
