The authorities of Agbado Oke Odo LCDA have issued a November 8 deadline to revenue contractors to remit all their outstanding payments or risk losing their licenses.

LCDA chairman, Arogundade, addressing the meeting

The deadline was issued at a meeting called by the revenue committee headed by the Council Treasurer, Mrs Morenike Babs Ogunleye, at the LCDA Secretariat in Abule Egba.
Speaking at the meeting, the Council Manager, Mrs Olapeju Akin-Ajayi, said it was unjustifiable to allow revenue contractors that did not remit into the council’s account to continue collecting revenues on behalf of the LCDA.

She threatened that most of the defaulters would be prosecuted if they failed to pay what they are owing the council.

The Chairman, Dr. Augustine Arogundade, therefore, urged the revenue contractors to buckle up with payment of their revenue target before the deadline.
