The remains of Mr Jimoh Yusuf, the Sergeant-at-arm of Alimosho Local Government Legislative House, has been buried according to Islamic rites.

Mr Yusuf, popularly called ‘Mr Leader’ died on Tuesday “after a brief illness.”

The Chairman of the Council, Mr Jelili Sulaimon, through a statement by his spokesman, Babatunde Opeyemi Yusuf, expressed shock at the demise of the late Sergeant-at-arm.

He described the late Yusuf as a committed and selfless officer, while praying God to grant him eternal rest, and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Those present at the late Sergeant-At-Arms Ikola resident, where he was buried, acknowledged his commitment, selflessness and dedication to duties while in the service of the local government.

Present at the burial were the Council Vice Chairman, Ibrahim Akinpelu Johnson, the leader of the House, Ahmed Obadina and other councillors and the immediate past Vice Chairman of the Council, Francis Adebisi.

Others include the former supervisors, AbdurRasheed Abolade and Adelumola Okubule among other past supervisors, councillors and many dignitaries.
