IYANA IPAJA – Residents and businesses around the Iyanapaja axis of Alimosho Local Government will soon experience improved road access and traffic movement.
This is courtesy of the ongoing construction and rehabilitation of the Old Ipaja Road by the Council authorities.

The Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, gave the assurance during an inspection of the project alongside members of the council management, legislative arm and other stakeholders.
Akinpelu said the project was designed to address some of the traffic and accessibility challenges faced by residents and other road users in the area, stressing that Old Ipaja Road serves as an important link to several streets within the community.

Completing the project, according to him, will improve vehicular movement, ease congestion and create better conditions for businesses and other socio-economic activities along the road corridor.
The chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering projects that have direct impact on residents, describing the road project as part of efforts to fulfil promises made to the people and improve the quality of life in Alimosho.

He appealed to residents, traders and motorists to be patient with the temporary disruptions that may accompany the construction.
He also urged the community to cooperate with the contractors and protect construction materials and equipment at the project site.
Akinpelu assured residents that the temporary inconvenience would ultimately result in a safer, smoother and more accessible road for the community.
