The immediate past cabinet members of Alimosho Local Government today paid a solidarity visit to the Chairman, Mr Jelili Sulaimon, at the Council Secretariat in Akowonjo.

They were led by former Vice Chairman, Mr Francis Adebisi, who said the purpose of the visit was to congratulate the chairman on his victory at the polls.

The Media Aide to the Chairman, Babatunde, Opeyemi Yusuf, in a statement, said the former executive members also pledged their “unalloyed loyalty” to Mr Sulaimon as he “paddles the canoe in the new administration.”

The Chairman, who welcomed the visitors, was full of appreciation as he received them.

He appreciated the cooperation he enjoyed from them in the previous administration and wish them all the best moving forward.

The Chairman was subsequently presented with a customised portrait with his picture.

Similarly, the Chief Imam of Alimosho Central Mosque, Alhaji Muhammad Bashir Mojasola, also paid a courtesy visit to the chairman.
