For the people of Aboru and environs, especially those on Remi Olagunju Close near the Aboru Police Station, the coming of Weebiz Centre is a great relief.
The stress of moving down to Pipeline or Iyana Ipaja or Meiran road to get photocopying and other educational support services done and the cost of such, is enough to make them appreciate the owners of the business for making their services available at no extra cost.
Weebiz is a business centre located 2, Remi Olagunju close, opposite Ifesowapo Senior Secondary School, Aboru, set up purposely to provide services ranging from typing (Arabic inclusive) Direct Imaging (DI) Printing, photocopying, book binding and lamination to passport photography.
The centre also renders online registration services, graphics designs, scanning and plastic ID card production.
Master Yusuf Akinloye is the Managing Director of Weebiz. He told Community Standard that the decision to locate the centre in Aboru was born out the desire to fill a vacuum that had existed in the area for long.
According to him, there are establishments such as police station, secondary schools and others in the area who need the kind of services Weebiz is offering but could not get them except they go to farther places.
“So, our coming here is a great relief to those establishments as well as individuals. Our prices are not different from what obtains at Iyana-Ipaja or other places where the residents will have to spend transport fare to make photocopies, do their printings and the likes,” he said.
The centre, established in 2018, is equipped with basic state-of-the-art equipment and a standby generator set that makes seamless operations possible.
“We also offer training on web design, desktop publishing Graphics Design and Arabic Typing. Other services are banner printing handbills, Poster, Exercise Book etc.
“With what we have here, our customers can be rest assured of quality services that will make them always wanting to return the next day,” Akinloye said.
For Weebiz owners, making money is not their only priority. Giving back to the immediate community is also part of their activities. One of such is the support of indigent students with school fees payment.
“Of course, profit making is the essence of running any business but for us at Weebiz, we render corporate social responsibility to our immediate community. Apart from supporting indigent students with school fees payment, we also support an NGO, Academic Excellence Initiative, AEI, during its 2018 Scholar’s Day event. Ours is a socially responsible entity,’ Akinloye explained.
